Day 1

Arrive and settle into the port city, Halifax, appreciate why it has become a first class vacation and conference destination. The museums, cobbled  streets, and night life are all within a few city blocks.
Day 2 Halifax is yours to explore, there options for everyone, visit the museums and historic sites to learn how history has shaped this famous port city. There are many tours by foot, road, horse and buggy or boat, even a Brewery tour. You are never far from the waterfront of the worlds second to largest natural harbour, with fine dining, pubs, a casino and theatre there is plenty on offer.
Day 3 Depart Halifax for the Evangeline Trail, you should  visit Grand Pre the site of Acadian deportation or hike one of the Province's best trails, high above the Bay of Fundy: Cape Split for the outdoor enthusiasts. You might decide to admire the splendor of Halls Harbour to witness the height of the tides or explore more historic sites in Annapolis Royal, where you will being spending the night. Here you will find Port Royal (the first French Settlement in North America) as well as Fort Anne, which has more detail on the conflicts that took place here. Drive time 2.5 hours
Day 4  Time enough to visit more of the local attractions before departing, the outdoor types will want an early start to enjoy some outdoor activities in Kejimkujik National Park where hikes and canoeing are available. Before proceeding to Lunenburg where you will be booked for the next two nights.  Drive time: 1.5 hours- allow extra  
Day 5 Lunenburg - a UNESCO World Heritage Site with lots of attractions in town and nearby. Home to the Bluenose II our famous tall ship, an excellent museum, golf course, boat tours and lots of short day trips to beaches and fishing villages nearby. The craft shops displaying the fine range of crafts here boast the fine artists that live in this province.
Day 6 On your return to Halifax you will pass through the picturesque Mahone Bay with it's three waterfront churches and craft shops along the water's edge. You will then follow the Lighthouse Route along the coast where you will come across many photo opportunities, as well as beaches to stop for a swim. Your last major stop before Halifax is Peggy's Cove, where the lighthouse sits on the waters edge on granite boulders. You will pass through more villages on your way to Halifax where you will spend your final night in this beautiful province.
