Flower Pot Island, Fundy

Unlike our other tours, this tour departs from Yarmouth for those of you arriving on board one of the ferries. Travel the Evangeline Trail to the Bay of Fundy passing through the Acadian fishing villages to Digby on the shores of the Annapolis Basin. Continue around the bay to Annapolis Royal and Kejimkujik National Park to enjoy the abundant wildlife and great outdoors. This tour also includes Lunenburg (a UNESCO World Heritage Site); Kejimkujik Seaside Adjunct; and Shelburne -- a stunning little seaside town with a picturesque waterfront, and a multitude of craft stores and restaurants.

Since 2003 it has been law in Nova Scotia that ALL tour operators in Nova Scotia be licensed by the NSPURB.  Among other things, licensed tour companies carry a required standard of insurance, undergoes six-monthly safety inspections, a full medical kit and other emergency items and that the vehicle has a clearly marked emergency exit. It's easy to tell if your tour company is licensed: a Commercial Plate must be prominently displayed on the front of the vehicle, and sign-writing (name of company, address & phone numbers) must appear on at least two sides of the vehicle. There are no exceptions to this law! For your own peace of mind always ensure you request your tour driver's PURB Licence Number to ensure you are travelling with a legal tour company within Nova Scotia
