You don’t need to book a hotel to gain the services of a concierge! Coming to a new part of the world can be daunting – there is no much to see and do. You don’t want to fall into the traps that so many tourists fall into. You don’t want to eat at a restaurant or go whale watching with a company who is only being referred to you because they offer the biggest commission to the person referring you.

I can help you plan your trip. Guide you to the not-to-be-missed spots, and help you decide the best times for visiting the super busy destinations (like Peggy’s Cove!).

I can even provide a step-on-guide service if you want the freedom of your own vehicle, but you also want someone on board explaining what you’re seeing and helping to get you to your destination (when you follow a GPS in rural Nova Scotia you never know where you’ll end up and what you’ll miss along the way!)

A basic concierge service includes several emails and/or telephone discussions prior to your arrival in Nova Scotia followed by an in-person meeting where we will discuss plenty of route planning suggestions and not-to-be-missed stops and well the provision of  required maps and brochures; plus advice for best times to visit hot spots as well as guidance for driving times and tips to avoid often-made mistakes & mishaps.

The cost is $150 plus tax if the meeting is to take place in Halifax. If you would like a meeting in Lunenburg/Mahone Bay the cost is $80 plus tax.
