Two Days Seven Bays
This two day tour encompasses many of the Nova Scotia mainland highlights including Grand Pre National Historic (UNESCO) Site and Hall’s Harbour for great lobster and 45-foot tides; then to Cape Blomidon for the breathtaking look-off and to Wolfville, a charming little town that is home to Acadia University. There is plenty of opportunity for hiking and/or shopping at some local farmer’s shops before heading to Lunenburg, where we will spend the night.
Lunenburg is a UNESCO World Heritage Town and home to several tall ships including Bluenose II, Picton Castle and Class Afloat, as well as the Theresa E. Connor – an historic tall ship no longer sailing but available for tours through the amazing Fisheries Museum. Depending on when you come the night will either be overflowing with possibilities or perfectly quiet and excellent for strolling through the streets after a meal in any one of several amazing choices for meals. We’ll head back to Halifax via Blue Rocks, Mahone Bay, Chester and, of course, Peggy’s Cove.
The price for the van is $860 plus tax. This means if there are two of you it is $430 each; if there are six of you it is $143.33 each plus tax. The price does not includes meals or accommodation. We are very happy to assist you in choosing and booking your accommodation as well as advice relating to best places to eat depending on what you’re looking for (we’re Lunenburg locals happy to share our local knowledge!).
